Facebook Shop is missing Shopify product variants

A parent product can look healthy while one or more variants are missing. Check identifiers, availability and grouping at variant level.

Common causes

• Duplicate SKUs make two variants compete for one identifier.
• A variant has no valid price, inventory or required field.
• Color and size are not transmitted as Meta attributes.
• The product group identifier is missing or inconsistent.

What to check first

1. Count variants in Shopify and items for the same product in Commerce Manager.
2. Confirm each variant has a unique SKU.
3. Check price and inventory on every variant.
4. Inspect whether Meta received color, size and item_group_id.

How to resolve it

1. Correct invalid variants in Shopify.
2. Make SKU values unique.
3. Do not recreate the whole product until the affected variant is identified.
4. Treat missing color/size transmission as a channel limitation when Shopify options are already correct.
